Packing tips
Make the Most of Your Unit
Use uniform box sizes
Same-sized boxes stack cleanly and use vertical space efficiently. Label every box on the side, not the top.
Create an aisle
Leave a center walkway for easy access to everything—no need to move the front rows.
Store furniture upright
Sofas, mattresses, and tables stored on their ends take up far less floor space and free up room for boxes.
Prohibited items
Be sure to read the lease agreement closely to be advised of all items which are strictly prohibited to ensure a smooth rental experience.
Use covers and wraps
Furniture blankets and plastic sheeting protect against dust and minor moisture. Don't use regular plastic wrap directly on wood.
Heaviest items on the bottom
Always load heavy boxes first, on the floor. Stack lighter boxes on top to prevent crushing and make retrieval easier.
